Multi-national corporations while pretending to care about the planet are pushing out small independent farmers and taking over land and food production to profit themselves. Governments, including ours, are complicit by

Not giving the farmers time and help to switch to more ecological farming.

Pushing farmers towards non-food agriculture (most new grants are for non-food agriculture).
Farmers, the people who feed us, are overworked, frustrated and in despair.

For decades Irish farmers were pushed into expensive industrial and chemical farming and herd expansion, and now (with many in debt or with a second job to pay loans) they are being penalised and blamed for the ecological damage caused.
Many are barely surviving; will they be forced to sell if their farms become non-viable? Non-viable Dutch farms are to be taken by Compulsory Purchase Order (CPO).

Irish farms will be ripe pickings for the multi-nationals. This will mean big industrial farms, or not using land for producing food so that people will have to buy lab-made meat/milk/eggs and factory grown food. Bill Gates while building factories to make lab-made meat/eggs/milk has bought a quarter of a million acres (he is he biggest farmland owner in the USA).

The Irish government instead of standing by farmers are pushing the agenda of multi-national corporations, all of whom supposedly have a Green Agenda but in reality are damaging our ecosystems and society for profit. Meanwhile they lay all the blame on farmers and ordinary people while the elite and multinational corporations get away with huge ecological damage.
The complicity of our government can be seen by the fact that they continually ignore creative ecological solutions offered by scientists and farmers, this is an absolute scandal and never hilighted in the media (media are themselves owned and controlled by multinationals).
Food production is our best use of land.
Land regeneration, creative farming and small biodiverse farms are the way forward, this is not being facilitated and those who go down that road face a ton of red tape.

Our unique rural Irish society and culture built on farming communities will be destroyed, as will the businesses built around them.

The IFA have warned that a new upcoming land tax could break farmers and are afraid that lands may be acquired by CPO (Compulsory Purchase Order) at discounted rates.

In the short-term relying on grants/payments will help farmers but in the long term they will lose their land and the right to farm due to the lack of real help and support to change to more ecological and profitable farming.

The Irish Fishing Industry and the communities built around it are been slowly destroyed, a scandal little spoken of. All of this his will facilitate the declared intention of our government of having 80% of people controlled in large urban centres by 2030, with food produced in huge industrial/chemical farms and factories, this would destroy our country; it is supposdly being done in the name of helping the planet but actually harms the planet (called by some the Greenwash Agenda).

The United Nations (UN) & World Economic Forum (WEF) like the WHO are unelected bodies mostly funded by private corporations
The UN & WEF presented the 2021 UN Food Summit. 600 groups representing thousands of small farmers (70%) boycotted it saying it only represented corporate interests. The WEF a private exclusive club representing big corporations, (who caused/are causing most of the world’s ecological damage), pretends to offer Green Solutions but only offer those that ultimately benefit their members. They actively block information on economical and creative solutions that benefit the planet and the people but not big corporations.
The WEF groom politicians (Young Global Leader programme etc) and boast that they have infiltrated governments around the world. Long considered to be merely a talking shop unfortunately It’s now clear that their policies are being followed, whether this is because of their influence or not hardly matters what matters is that In the name of the Green Agenda but really in the name of Power Profit and Control a regime where ‘You will own Nothing and be Happy’ a regime of total surveillance and control is being introduced. It’s clear that the EU are on board with this as they are already introducing Digital ID, Cashless society and Social Credit Scores. The plan is that we will own nothing and the elite will own ALL LAND and everything else. Several members of the Irish government are WEF members.

Farmers: Please don’t stop producing food. Get independent advice. Regenerated land and small biodiverse farms produce more and better food are ecologically sound and yield a better income and less stress.
One of the exciting new developments in Irish Farming is Korean Natural Farming being successfully implemented on a dairy farm in Limerick by Tomas Stack. Tomas used to spend over €54,000 per year on feed and fertiliser and now only spends €5,000 per year on natural alternatives. In only a year and a half Tomas transformed his farm using indigenous microorganisms (IMO) to create fertile soils that produce a high output without the use of synthetic fertilizer, herbicides or pesticides.

Farmers: Your representative organisations criticise new policies but don’t organise mass resistance/non-compliance, pressure them to truly represent you by getting help for you in the transition to more ecological farming meanwhile saying no to punitive measures, herd culling and reduction in food production.
