Fear of Covid 19 (fostered by governments & media) allowed governments to introduce authoritarian new laws. However we now know that Covid 19 has the same danger level as a bad flu so it is only dangerous to old people and those with underlying conditions, the same as a bad flu. Governments knew this by summer 2020 but continued to exercise authoritarianism. WHY?
The Irish Govt continually twist the narrative
The sum total of deaths in Ireland counted as covid deaths also include all those whose main cause of death was from something else but they had tested positive for covid within the previous 28 days. In 2020 Leo Varadker in response to a question from Michael McNamara T.D said this was only a temporary measure and would be corrected BUT IT IS STILL THE SAME. The Irish Govt and media continue to report deaths and hospitalisations with covid as opposed to of covid. They also spun the tale that unvaccinated people were the cause of spreading the virus in spite of several T.D 's & Senators putting it on record in the Dáil & Seanad that evidence shows that this is not true.
In November 2021 the Tanaiste told CNN that the unvaccinated were causing a big problem in Ireland, however data from the HSPC, a division of the Dept. of Health showed that all those who had died in Ireland in the previous week with Covid were fully vaccinated.
Studies commissioned by the governments of Spain and Wales show that vaccine passports do nothing to stop the spread of the virus.
